Lorenzo Savadori clinched the Superstock 1000 championship with an eighth place this weekend. Nolangroup is now proud to say they have 50 world titles.

In Superbike, Chaz Davies was sixth in race one and second place in race two – remaining in second place in the standings.

Next and last race on October 18 in Qatar.

Chaz Davies, X-lite X-802R.

“In race two I had a pretty fast pace but, considering my position in the standings, I chose not to take too many risks, trying to reach Rea. Halfway through the race when I saw that Sykes had lost a bit ‘of land, I decided to be content with second position. In the first heat instead we had just missed the set-up, not taking time to change from ‘dry’ to ‘wet’ our attitude. It was like turning on the ice and I did everything to close sixth. I am satisfied, and the fact that what today is my first Superbike podium at Magny-Cours, for the fact that we go to Qatar with a lead of 16 points on Sykes. He has always been strong here in France, and so I expected to lose more points today; then it went well and now we focus on the last round. “
